Job SummaryThis position will be primarily responsible for preparing exam packets prior to testing so as to be certain that each student's exam has been received, is printed, and that the administrative requirements, including any accommodations, are clearly noted for our proctors. These responsibilities require the employee to be very organized and detail-oriented, so as to ensure that the student receives the correct exam and often involve communicating with instructors to obtain the exam and to clarify the administrative conditions.
This position is full-time, 100%. Ongoing/Renewable. The work schedule is flexible and will be determined at the time of hire. Some flexibility to work evening hours may be required. This position is fully on-site.
Key Job Responsibilities- Identifies program, needs, contributes to the development of unit workflows, schedules logistics and secures resources for meetings, events, and interviews
- Coordinates program components and evaluates program effectiveness and provides recommendations for improvement
- May supervise the day to day activities of one or more academic programs and resolves issues exercising discretion to meet unit goals.
- Utilizes independent judgement regarding development, implementation, promotion, and evaluation for one or more academic programs, initiatives, or events
Division for Teaching and Learning, Testing & Evaluation Services
Testing and Evaluation Services provides the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus and the University of Wisconsin System with services related to assessment and evaluation. Our office provides scanning services, scoring and statistical analysis of exams and evaluations, and administration of local and national standardized exams. Staff within the department conduct nationally recognized research on test-related topics and have an extensive record of publications in peer-reviewed journals.
CompensationThe starting salary for the position is $50,000 (but is negotiable based on experience and qualifications).

- Bachelor's Degree Required by May 29, 2026
