Role Overview:
The Accounts Payable Specialist will play a key role in managing vendor payments, ensuring accuracy, and supporting process improvements. This position requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and experience with tax compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Purchase Orders:
  Enter and review purchase orders, ensure accuracy, and close as needed
• Vendor Invoices:
  Match invoices to purchase orders, code to correct accounts, and resolve disputes
• Sales & Use Tax:
  Determine applicability on vendor invoices
• Cash Disbursements:
  Process payments via check or ACH, ensuring timely delivery and discount term compliance
• Vendor Statements:
  Review for past due invoices and resolve discrepancies

Ideal Candidate:

• Experience with 2-Way Matching
• Knowledge of Sales & Use Tax
• Familiarity with Vista Viewpoint ERP a plus
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
