Salary: Up to $90,000 annually (commensurate with experience)
Job SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of accounting experience
, a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
, and strong knowledge of financial reporting and general ledger management. A CPA designation is a plus
. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate financial records, compliance, and timely reporting.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
- Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to management
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Review and improve accounting processes and internal controls
- Mentor junior accounting staff as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required)
- Minimum of 3 years of professional accounting experience
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- CPA certification (or progress toward CPA) is a plus
- Experience in [industry, if applicable]
- Prior experience with audits and financial analysis
