* Job Description:

** This person is responsible for cash application and administration of funds through multiple payment sources in the factoring division as well as various accounting functions.
*
* Qualifications:

** This person should have an associate’s degree, plus four years of related work experience or the equivalent.  This person should have a basic understanding of accounting and possess strong communication skills, organizational skills and the ability to use all Microsoft Office applications.
** Principal Responsibilities:
*** Complete cash application functions.
* Balance and execute outgoing funds per request to a variety of outside sources, such as ACH, wire, and fuel card providers.
* Review remittance information and other documents for completeness, validity, and accuracy according to determined policy. Research remittance where carrier information is missing or inaccurate.
* Assist with accounting functions:  + Daily factoring trial balance account reconciliations  + Process foreign payments adjustments, returned non-sufficient funds payments and drafts.  + Enter various journal entries for funds transfers/credit memos/fee application  + Audit Ach/Wire templates for update/deletion  + Upload EOD reports to Banking Ops for reconciliation requirements.
* Analyze accounts for release letter attainability/account closing.
* Monitor special accounts and complete loan payments/payoffs.
* Act in accordance with FBT policies and procedures as set forth in the employee handbook.
* Adhere to compliance procedures and participate in required compliance training.
