Position SummaryThe Internal Operations and Technology Project Manager coordinates projects across facilities, infrastructure, and technology systems to ensure seamless operations across multiple medical office locations. This role combines project management, vendor coordination, construction oversight, and IT implementation. The ideal candidate thrives in complex environments and uses technology to drive operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities Project and Operations Management- Lead renovations, expansions, and new site openings
- Manage timelines, budgets, procurement, and deliverables
- Serve as liaison between leadership, contractors, vendors, and internal teams
- Oversee delivery and installation of equipment and infrastructure
- Track cross-functional dependencies across facilities and IT
- Maintain project documentation and standard operating procedures
- Partner with contractors, architects, electricians, and cabling teams
- Ensure compliance with healthcare, ADA, and safety standards
- Oversee installation of network cabling, security systems, access control, audiovisual systems, and smart building features
- Manage on-site logistics and quality control
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and resolve issues
- Coordinate rollout and maintenance of Microsoft 365 including Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, and One Drive
- Oversee network and wireless infrastructure
- Support VOIP phone systems such as Ring Central
- Manage security cameras and access control systems
- Supervise IT, telecommunications, and security vendors
- Ensure HIPAA compliance, cybersecurity standards, and system documentation
- Support system integration across multiple sites
- Identify workflow improvements and cost-saving opportunities
- Standardize infrastructure and facility processes
- Coordinate staff communication and training during transitions
- Use AI and automation tools to increase efficiency
- Follow documented workflows and standardized systems
- Apply critical thinking and validate outputs
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Information Technology, Operations Management, or related field preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing technology, operations, or facilities projects, preferably in healthcare
- Experience coordinating office buildouts or construction projects
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration
- Familiarity with network infrastructure and telecommunications systems
- Experience with EMR systems such as CureMD, Athena, or similar
- Strong vendor management and contractor coordination skills
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and cybersecurity best practices
