Responsibilities include:

  • Memorize training material and explain the health benefits of ingredients and food to customers in an upbeat and informative manner.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the front lobby and outside area.
  • Provide excellent customer service, being positive, polite, and informative, including accurate wait times.
  • Assist with ringing up guests, answering phone calls, and taking orders over the phone.
  • Have thorough knowledge of the food and recipes, follow recipes, and prepare all food in a timely and sanitary manner.
  • Prepare food according to proper procedures.
  • Consistently clean the kitchen and lobby thoroughly.
  • Organize and put away deliveries.
  • Wash dishes and store properly.
  • Communicate with staff to ensure correct and timely order preparation.
  • Deliver food to customers.
  • Communicate with managers about scheduling and days off.
  • Arrive on time and take breaks appropriately.
  • Complete opening and closing duties.
  • Perform additional tasks as requested by management.
  • Follow sanitation, safety, and health guidelines.
  • Stock and rotate food items.
  • Follow safety procedures and practice cost-cutting measures.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Become food certified.
  • Handle basic computer operations, POS systems, cash, and credit card transactions.
  • Maintain a professional personal appearance.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and work well with others.

    Standards and Expectations:

    • Be friendly and fast: greet guests, minimize wait times, and create memorable experiences.
    • Know the menu and preparation methods, including gluten-free modifications, and understand nutritional values.
    • Work as a team to deliver excellent service and food quality.
    • Present yourself professionally, be punctual, keep the store clean, and operate cash and POS systems carefully.
