Shift Supervisor Trainee

Position Summary

The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry‑level, short‑term position that prepares an employee to perform a higher‑level supervisory role, such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. The trainee completes basic operations and management skills training and learns about key aspects of the business, including building customer loyalty through exceptional service and CVS/pharmacy culture. Upon successful completion of the training program, trainees are eligible to be considered for promotion to open Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor positions.

• Management Work effectively with store management and store crews, supervise the crew through assigning, directing and following up of all activities, and effectively communicate information both to and from store management and crews.
• Customer Service Assist customers with their questions, problems and complaints, promote CVS customer service culture by greeting, offering help and thanking, handle all customer relations issues in accordance with company policy, and maintain customer/patient confidentiality.

• Experience in retail (preferred).
• High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred but not required).

$16.00 – $23.00 per hour.

35 hours per week.
