Overview
Position:
Injection Mold Maker
Madison Concept Tool & Engineering, LLC
Location:
North Vernon, IN/Madison, IN
Full-Time: 6am-3pm
Responsibilities- Build, repair, modify, and maintain plastic injection molds and dies
- Perform die building, fitting, and assembly
- Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and technical specifications
- Machine mold and die components using CNC mills, lathes, grinders, EDM, and hand tools
- Perform precision fitting, polishing, spotting, and final assembly of mold and die components
- Inspect tooling for wear, damage, and performance issues
- Troubleshoot and resolve mold and die-related issues to support consistent, high-quality production
- Work closely with engineering and production teams to implement tooling improvements and engineering changes
- 2-5+ years of experience in working in a mold shop
- 2-5+ years of experience in mold polishing
- Background in mold maintenance, repair, or building
