A confidential client has engaged our firm to identify an experienced Accounting Manager to lead core accounting operations, strengthen internal controls, and support leadership with accurate, timely financial insight. This role oversees reporting, audit and tax coordination, and general ledger integrity across a multi‑site environment. The ideal candidate brings a balance of hands‑on technical depth and the ability to partner cross‑functionally to support long‑term business planning.

The Accounting Manager is responsible for ensuring accurate reporting

. The role collaborates closely with operational leaders, planning teams, and corporate finance to maintain financial integrity and drive continuous improvement.

• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close cycles.
• Ensure timely, accurate financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analyses.
• Maintain reporting calendars and ensure compliance with internal deadlines.
• These responsibilities align with the document’s emphasis on close oversight and GAAP compliance.
• Lead preparation of monthly and quarterly reporting packages for executive leadership.
• Ensure consistency, accuracy, and clarity across all financial reporting.
• Serve as primary liaison for external auditors.
• Ensure audit readiness through strong documentation and internal controls.
• Oversee the integrity of the general ledger and chart of accounts.
• Maintain strong internal controls, including reconciliation and review processes.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience in manufacturing
• Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills; experience with forecasting or modeling tools beneficial.
