We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Accounting Manager to join our fast-paced manufacturing industry. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a solid background in accounting and finance to play a pivotal role in the financial management and strategic growth of our company. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire accounting function, including job costing, budgeting, financial reporting, financial analysis, cost accounting, general ledger, financial auditing, financial accounting, and corporate finance.
In addition to daily accounting tasks, the Accounting Manager will also liaise with external auditors and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.Manage the cost accounting system, methods, and activities.Conduct detailed financial analysis to provide insight into the organization's financial health.Prepare and present financial reports and risk analysis.Create budgets and forecasts for the company.Develop and maintain financial accounting systems for cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit control, and petty cash.Implement and ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures.Work with external auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained.Drive the financial planning of the company by analyzing its performance and risks.Retain constant awareness of the company’s financial position and act to prevent problems.Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A master's degree or CPA certification is highly desirable.Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior-level finance or accounting position, preferably within the manufacturing industry.Knowledge of all aspects of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).Proficient in advanced accounting software and MS Office (especially Excel).Strong understanding of economic and banking processes.Excellent leadership and communication skills.Strong analytical and strategic planning skills.Proven experience in financial project management.Ability to work collaboratively across departmental functions.Experience in managing relationships with external auditors.Strong understanding of corporate finance and performance management principles.This is a permanent position that offers a competitive salary and benefits package.
