Supv Materials Management - Madison Hospital Surgery 1st Shift

Overview

Materials Management is responsible for performing/controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, and distribution of supplies within Huntsville Hospital.

Education required: High School diploma or GED

Education preferred: College degree

Experience: Previous experience in supply and equipment management preferred. Health care experience preferred. 4 years work experience preferred. Prior distribution center experience preferred.

Additional skills/abilities: Independent self-starter with a drive to succeed. Strong emphasis on results with ability to motivate others and significantly contribute in a team environment to accomplish goals. Excellent interpersonal, organizational and follow-up skills. Analytical skills strongly preferred. Problem solving skills strongly preferred. Computer experience using Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, and Word). Ability to work in a position that requires prolonged standing, frequent bending, stooping, and reaching.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
