Job Title
2nd Shift Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician
LocationMadison AL
Pay$30/hr - $38/hr
Shift3:00 PM - 11:30 PM on normal days; busy days the shift will be 3pm - 1:30am with OT on Saturdays.
Job DescriptionAs a Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a variety of manufacturing equipment used in solar panel production. You will play a critical role in ensuring that our manufacturing processes run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
- Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems in the manufacturing process.
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform root‑cause analysis to identify and resolve issues.
- Troubleshoot and maintain FANUC Robotics
- Install, maintain, and upgrade electrical systems, including wiring, switches, and circuit breakers.
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure proper operation of equipment and provide technical support when needed.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, parts used, and repairs completed.
- Participate in safety programs and adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines.
- Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance best practices to improve efficiency and reliability.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in electrical, mechanical, or industrial maintenance is preferred.
- At least 3 years of experience in a multi‑craft maintenance role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including wiring, circuit breakers, and control panels.
- Experience with mechanical systems, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and tooling.
- Proficient with troubleshooting and maintaining Allen Bradley PLCs.
- Proficient in troubleshooting and maintaining FANUC Robotics
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing manufacturing equipment.
- Basic computer skills for record‑keeping and maintenance software.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
