Assembly Technician – Automotive/Interior-Exterior – Huntsville, AL – $18.00/hr

We are seeking an experienced Assembly Technician – Automotive/Interior-Exterior for our client close to Huntsville, AL. You will perform a variety of operational functions in vehicle interior and exterior assembly using electrical and air-powered tools. This is a great opportunity to work with a leading automotive manufacturer while building your long-term career.

• Assemble and fit vehicle components using compound miter saws, routers, band saws, die grinders, radial arm saws, sanders, drill press, cut-off tools, jig saws, and other hand tools.

• Perform manual labor involving reaching, standing, kneeling, bending, stooping, and twisting throughout the workday.

• Work in both vehicle interior and exterior (tight spaces included).

• Utilize and maintain personal tool set including wrenches, screwdrivers, socket sets, pliers, cutters, tape measure, etc.

• Mitre saw experience required.

• Previous automotive manufacturing or assembly experience preferred.

• High School Diploma/GED preferred.

• Must accurately read tape measure (assessment given).

• ASE certification is a plus.

• Strong work ethic, good attendance, and ability to follow instructions.

• Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs and work occasional overtime.

• Steel-toed boots required.

• Must pass background & drug screening.

• Shift: 1st Shift – Monday–Thursday 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM;
  Friday 7:30 AM – 2:00 PM

• Overtime: Weekday early arrivals (5:00 AM) and Saturdays 7:30 AM – 12:00 PM

• Pay: $18.00/hr
