Quality Team Leader

Overview

Summary/ Objective:
Provide technical support to the Quality Assurance and other departments.

• Ensures safety of self and others by following all Safety Policies/Procedures and wearing all required PPE
• Team Member Training
• Continuous training of current team members
• Coordinate daily activities of team members
• Team members audits
• Quality training for production departments
• Daily toolbox meeting
• Everyday safety of team members
• New team member orientation
• Cost Reduction (Coordinate Kaizen meeting)
• Manage V-V Quality and sorting
• Support of all departments
• Coordinate part sorts (in-house and customer)
• Assist in adjustments to lines or presses
• Follow up on counter measures
• Coordinate pre-production activities
• Dealing with customers
• Standard quantity inventories
• Maintain C/F maintenance schedule
• Upkeep of quality documentation
• Act as Group Leader in absence of
• Daily reports to group leader
• Regular attendance is required

Must be flexible to work in all areas and in your department regardless of duties listed above in order to accomplish YKTA Goals and objectives.

• Previous quality experience, preferably automotive.
• Personal computer and software skills

• Work is conducted in an industrial office/ plant setting.
• Frequent movement throughout an industrial plant environment being exposed to high noise levels and equipment normally used in stamping / welding/ Ecoat environments.

• Prolonged periods of standing on the plant floor.
• Must be able to traverse the entire facility.
• Must be able to lift up to 33 pounds at times.
