Senior Enterprise Data Analyst – Hexagon Asset Lifecycle Intelligence
Collaborate closely within the agile enterprise data team and with internal stakeholders across the organization to understand business objectives, determine how data can be leveraged, identify and analyze necessary data, and create reporting and visualizations. The end goal is to produce clear and compelling information that drives business decisions and improvement in revenue, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction. The primary technologies used are Thought Spot connected to Snowflake.
Self‑starter, able to operate under limited supervision, and a problem solver. The role requires taking initiative to learn and understand the business domain, the necessary stakeholders and their points of view. Must be a team player as part of a cross‑functional team of data engineers, data analysts, product management, and interacting with data science and analytics teams throughout the organization. Provides regular demos, leads working sessions, interfaces directly with internal stakeholders, and resolves critical support issues.
Originality, ingenuity, independent judgment, and a reasonable degree of self‑direction are highly desired.
- Work with internal stakeholders to understand business objectives and propose ways enterprise data can help facilitate those objectives.
- Identify and analyze data, create a reporting layer, and develop actionable data insights and visualizations.
- Work with the Thought Spot vendor to resolve open issues, understand new product features and how they can be utilized to solve business problems.
- Experience in understanding business problems and creating compelling analytics from enterprise data to drive business decisions.
- Experience with an enterprise data warehouse and analytics solutions, as well as visualization technologies.
- Experience with some SQL language.
- Experience validating the quality of data and metrics.
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and problem‑solving skills.
- Self‑starter that can work a project independently.
- Experience with Thought Spot or other self‑service analytics tools.
- Experience consuming data from Snowflake or other cloud data warehouse.
- Experience with and other cloud technologies.
Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or another related field is required.
