Creek Stone Academy in Madison, Alabama is adding Infant and Toddler Teachers to the team. Each ideal candidate will have proven success in fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment which promotes the social, emotional, and intellectual development of young children. As a teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping the early learning experiences of our youngest students, ensuring they are well-prepared for their educational journey ahead.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and games that promote literacy education, math skills, and physical education.
  • Create a safe and welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching methods to meet individual needs.
  • Manage classroom behavior effectively, employing positive behavior management strategies.
  • Collaborate with parents and caregivers to support child welfare and development.
  • Facilitate activities that promote childhood development through play-based learning.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate regularly with families.
Skills / Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of childhood development principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in literacy education and math instruction tailored for preschool-aged children.
  • Excellent behavior management skills to create a positive classroom atmosphere.
  • Ability to teach physical education concepts in an engaging manner.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Creative problem-solving abilities to adapt lessons based on student needs and interests.
  • Commitment to fostering a love for learning in young children through innovative teaching methods.

Preferred 2 years minimum experience in a preschool center.

Must be at least 19 years of age.

Must be able to play on the ground or floor with the children.

Valid Driver's License preferred.
