16 hours weekly

• Provide medical nutrition therapy and evaluate the effectiveness of treatments.
• Assess patients for nutritional status; provide interventions including diet therapy, counseling or specialized nutrition supplements; collaborate with physicians, nursing and ancillary services such as speech pathology or physical therapy.
• Monitor tolerance and effectiveness of nutritional regimen and recommend therapy adjustments as necessary.
• Provide nutrition information for the community, which may include public speaking, news releases and other forms of publications.
• Research and take initiatives to resolve nutrition care related complaints and problems.
• Assist in monitoring meals including intake, diet compliance and tray accuracy; maintain sanitation of food preparation areas through planned and unannounced inspections.

• Dietitian/Nutritionist credentialed from the Commission on Dietetic Registration obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Educator specializing in Diabetes Management preferred.

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
• Bariatric experience preferred
