Lab Technician

The Fountain Group is currently seeking a Chemistry Lab Technician for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Madison Heights, MI
.

• Operate and perform routine maintenance on analytical equipment
• Execute and maintain analytical methods and procedures
• Support cross-functional project teams and deliver quality customer reports
• Manage data and documentation using digital systems (MS Office, LIMS, statistical tools)
• Communicate results through reports, presentations, and customer interactions
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and housekeeping standards

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry; laboratory experience preferred
• Strong wet chemistry skills (titrations, dilutions, extractions, gravimetric analysis)
• Experience with GC-FID required; ICP, IC, SEM/EDS, and FTIR preferred
• Familiarity with pH and ion-selective electrodes
• Strong chemical math, attention to detail, and computer skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
