About Miss Nene s Childcare CenterWhat s in a name is what a person is all about. Over 34 years ago, Miss NeNe worked for a large corporate daycare. My real name being Lenea, was quite difficult for children to say so, one magical day one of the preschoolers in my care pulled on my pant leg and said, "Miss NeNe". What an easy, simple name for a child to say.
I was so excited that a child had taken the time to give me a special name that meant so much to him. That is what child care is all about, that special bond between caregiver and child. I left to start my own in home daycare so I could give that something extra that children so deserve - a closer and more at home atmosphere, with a child care provider that took the time to know the children in her care as if they were her own.
Miss NeNe also expects the same care out of her staff. Children need love and guidance, but most of all they need to know that someone is taking time to get to know them as a special human being. These children are what my name is all about.
