Skill Development Mobilizer

Job Title:

Mobilizer – Skill Development (Utkarsha Bangla) Program

Location:

Madhyamgram & Barasat (Kolkata)

Key Responsibilities:

* Conduct community mobilization and awareness activities to promote Utkarsha Bangla program.

* Identify and counsel eligible youth about the benefits of Utkarsha Bangla program and available job opportunities.

* Build and maintain relationships with local communities, panchayats, block offices, municipalities, NGOs, and other stakeholders.

* Organize and participate in mobilization camps, drives, village meetings.

* Maintain daily records of mobilization efforts, counseling sessions, and enrollment data.

* Coordinate with trainers and center staff to facilitate smooth onboarding and training of enrolled candidates.

* Assist in placement coordination and post-placement tracking as required.

Key Skills &

Competencies:

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills in local language(s) and Hindi/English.

* Community outreach and counseling ability.

* Knowledge of local geography and socio-economic dynamics.

* Basic computer skills (MS Office, data entry).

* Target-oriented approach and ability to work in field conditions.

* Experience in working with youth or in social sector projects is an advantage.

Qualifications &

Experience:

* Minimum Qualification:

10+2 or Graduate in any discipline.

* Experience:

1-3 years in mobilization, field work, counseling, or community engagement in skill development or similar programs (Utkarsha Bangla, DDU-GKY, PMKVY, etc.).

Remuneration:

15K-18K (based on experience).
Travel allowance for field activities.

Note:

This position may require extensive local travel. Preference will be given to candidates from the local area or with prior experience in similar government projects.
