Required:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California

• Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) certification (preferred but not required)

• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification

• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care in a busy Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, adhering to hospital policies and standards.

• Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and perform advanced patient assessments.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.

• Educate families and provide emotional support, ensuring they are well-informed and comforted.

• Maintain detailed documentation of patient care, medication administration, and progress.

• Respond swiftly and effectively to critical situations, utilizing advanced clinical skills.

What You Bring:

• Proven experience working in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, with the ability to handle high-acuity cases with confidence.

• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to assess and respond to rapidly changing patient conditions.

• Outstanding communication skills to coordinate care with physicians, families, and healthcare staff.

• Compassionate demeanor, with a genuine passion for pediatric patient care.

• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a dynamic environment.
Preferred

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher preferred.

• Minimum of 2 years recent PICU nursing experience.

• Pediatric Emergency or Critical Care certifications are a plus.
Compensation & Benefits:

• Weekly taxable pay: $3,040.80

• Weekly stipend: $1,505.00
