Welder

Job Summary

The ideal candidate in this role will fabricate steel molds for concrete which involves the use of hand and power tools, welding operations, and lifting tools.

• Fabrication of steel from parts using various cutting equipment and welding parts together per specifications
• Completing vertical and horizontal arc and MIG welding
• Using oxygen and fuel torches to cut steel
• Using industrial steel tools such as a vertical band saw, drill press, grinders, etc.

• At least one year of experience in steel fabrication
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
• Ability to read fractions and a tape measure
• Ability to read shop prints
• Understanding of basic use of hand and power tools
• Maintenance experience preferred

• The hourly pay rate is $19/hr.
