Dispensing Audiologist - Audiology

Overview

Job Summary:

This position is accountable for the assessment, treatment, and management of patients with auditory disorders/hearing impairments and dispensing hearing aids. Completes diagnostic assessment to rule out or define hearing impairment. Completes hearing aid and assistive device selection and dispensation. Develops, implements, and evaluates developmentally/culturally appropriate education to meet the learning needs of the patient/family.

• Assess, treat, and manage patients with auditory disorders/hearing impairments.
• Dispense hearing aids and assistive devices, and complete related selection processes.
• Complete diagnostic assessments to rule out or define hearing impairment.
• Develop and provide education that meets the learning needs of patients and families (developmentally/culturally appropriate).

• Masters Degree In Audiology (required)
• Doctorate In Audiology (preferred)

• AU - Audiologist License - SLP/AUD - Speech-Language Pathology/Audiology/Hearing Aid Dispensers Board (required)
• CAHAD - CA Hearing Aid Dispenser - SLP/AUD - Speech-Language Pathology/Audiology/Hearing Aid Dispensers Board (required)
• BLS - Basic Life Support - AHA - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire or transfer into position (required)
• AU - Audiologist License - SLP/AUD - Speech-Language Pathology/Audiology/Hearing Aid Dispensers Board (preferred)

• Minimum three (3) years Pediatric experience, or five years of related experience (preferred).

• Bilingual Skills Preferred

$44.85 - $69.60
