Job Summary:
This position is accountable for cleaning, inspecting, assembly, high-level disinfection, and/or sterilization of all instrumentation, and/or medical devices, and flexible endoscopes for the hospital. Responsible for accurately entering data into an instrument tracking system. Follows departmental policies, processes, and regulatory requirements. May assume lead role.
Qualifications Education- High School Diploma/G.E.D. (required)
- CRCST - Certified Registered Central Service Technician - HSPA - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (required)
- CBSPDT - Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician - Certified Board of Sterile Processing and Distribution (required)
- CSPDT - Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician - CBSPD - Certification Board for Sterile Processing & Distribution (required)
- Minimum two (2) years Sterile processing experience. (preferred)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and knowledge of instrumentation and medical devices.
- Computer Skills Demonstrates proficiency in computer skills.
