Part‑time (60% FTE), 24 hours per week.
Monthly pay range: $4,669.80 – $6,191.40.

- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations to assess visual acuity and diagnose ocular conditions.
- Use observation and instruments to determine visual clarity, perception, focus, and coordination.
- Prescribe corrective lenses and treatment as needed.
- Maintain inmate safety and order during examinations; supervise inmate conduct.
- Collaborate with medical, dental, nursing, mental health, and pharmacy staff to provide integrated health care.
- Valid optometry license in the State of California.
- Minimum of two (2) years of optometry practice experience.
