Responsibilities POSITION SUMMARY
The Training & Education Coordinator supports the development, delivery, and evaluation of all employee training programs at River Vista. This role ensures staff have the knowledge, skills, and resources necessary to provide high-quality, safe, and compliant patient care. The coordinator manages training logistics, maintains accurate education records, assists with onboarding, and helps ensure the organization meets regulatory and accreditation standards.
QUALIFICATIONSEducation: Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience: A minimum of Two (2) years direct experience preferred in a psychiatric or mental health setting, with direct experience in staff education, education concepts, practices and procedures.
Certification: CPR & CPI Instructor certification. Active & current・・・。
Additional Requirements: Complete knowledge of crisis intervention techniques, restraint and seclusion, and ability to prepare and present training events as directed for Nursing Services. Knowledge of phlebotomy and EKG processes. May be required to work occasional weekends and/or other hours; conduct weekend training as needed. Strong organizational skills
