We are seeking a full-time Inpatient Adult Psychiatrist to join our dynamic medical staff at River Vista Behavioral Health in Madera, CA

  Flexible schedule with shared call
• Patient Volume: daily case load of a minimum of 15 inpatient adult patients
• Location: Madera, CA
• Practice Setting: Behavioral Health Facility, Inpatient

• Provide inpatient services to adults with a focus on regular rounding, admissions, discharges and treatment team participation
• Collaborate with physicians, APPs, and support staff

• Board Certified / Board Eligible in Psychiatry
• Licensed to practice in California or eligibility to obtain a CA license
• Meet all credentialing criteria required by participating physicians

• River Vista is a newer, state-of-the-art 128-bed behavioral health hospital that opened its doors in 2023. We offer a full continuum of inpatient services, including specialized units catering to the unique needs of children, adolescents, and older adults with co-occurring behavioral health and substance-use issues. We offer robust outpatient programs addressing prevalent behavioral health concerns.
• Madera, CA is in California’s San Joaquin Valley, about 20 miles north of Fresno. The community is known for its diversity, family-oriented neighborhoods and a blend of small-town atmosphere with growing local amenities. Madera hosts year-round community events such as farmers markets, outdoor concerts, movies in the park, and local festivals. Wineries and vineyards nearby help define the Madera AVA wine region.
