Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position office is based in Macon, Georgia, work will be in South Georgia and Alabama for a Fire Sprinkler, Fire Alarm, and Fire Extinguisher Inspector supporting the full scope of services provided by Super Hero Fire & Life Safety. The role plays a critical part in ensuring buildings remain compliant, protected, and safe through comprehensive inspection, testing, and reporting of fire protection and life safety systems.

Qualifications
  • Demonstrated proficiency in fire inspections, including the ability to evaluate fire protection and life safety systems for proper operation, code compliance, and overall system integrity
  • Proven experience in fire prevention, with the ability to identify deficiencies, hazards, and non-compliant conditions that could compromise occupant or property safety
  • Strong working knowledge of fire protection systems, including fire sprinkler systems, fire alarm systems, and portable fire extinguishers, with an understanding of how these systems function individually and as part of an integrated life safety strategy
  • Solid understanding of life safety and fire safety principles, including applicable NFPA standards, local and state fire codes, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and risk mitigation
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
  • Ability to produce clear, accurate, and thorough inspection reports, including proper documentation of deficiencies, corrective actions, and compliance status
  • Required state certifications or licenses for fire alarm inspections, fire sprinkler inspections, and fire extinguisher inspections, as applicable under Georgia regulations (NICET certification preferred where applicable)
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in the field while managing on-site inspections with minimal supervision
  • Prior experience in the fire protection and life safety industry is highly desirable
  • Willingness and ability to travel as needed to support inspection assignments and customer locations
  • Physically capable of performing field inspections, including working in mechanical rooms, climbing ladders, accessing rooftops, and navigating active job sites
