We are seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Chiller Technician to join our fast‑growing team. The ideal candidate will have a can‑do attitude, strong problem‑solving skills, and an active EPA certification.

• Perform routine and unscheduled maintenance and repair of commercial systems including air‑cooled chillers, centrifugal chillers, pumps, cooling towers, air handler units, valves, fan coil units, variable air‑volume systems, etc.
• Diagnose and repair machine and equipment defects – electronic, mechanical, and electrical components related to these systems.
• Inspect and test system components to ensure proper operation, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards.
• Conduct preventive maintenance, repair, installation, general servicing, and troubleshooting of mechanical HVAC systems.
• Assist in installing, retrofitting, and commissioning commercial chiller systems and related HVAC equipment.
• Interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to assess and repair HVAC systems.
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through direct on‑site customer interface.
• Service, troubleshoot, and repair commercial/industrial chiller and refrigeration equipment.
• Comfortable and knowledgeable in electrical components – timers, contractors, relays.
• Adhere to safety protocols and comply with regulatory requirements related to HVAC and refrigeration systems.

• Continual learning and development through First Call Academy to ensure industry skill level.

• Valid driver license with acceptable driving record.
• Active EPA certification.
• 2+ years of experience in a commercial HVAC setting with chillers.
• OSHA 10 certification preferred.
• Technical training in HVAC or refrigeration preferred.
• Available to work flexible hours and on‑call shifts as needed.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills.

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; write correspondence; effectively communicate with the customer by checking in and out with them on jobs; explain problems and resolution in a manner the customer can understand.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure; compute rate, ratio, and percent; draw and interpret graphs.

Apply common sense to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form; deal with problems involving several concrete variables; prioritize multiple tasks.

Regularly use hands; stand, walk, sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl; lift and move up to 50 pounds; specific vision abilities required.
