Provide customer service to site staff and visitors at a government location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.;
Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards or maintenance concerns.;
Monitor access points, verify visitor authorization as required by post orders, and document entries and exits per site procedures.;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.;
Complete detailed reports of patrols, incidents, and unusual activity, and communicate status updates to supervision per post requirements.
