Essential Functions Service Existing Customer Accounts- Begin to learn the equipment via training documents provided by Rental Manager
- Proactively generate interest at existing customers that historically had need for assets being returned
- Cold‑call prospective rental customers
- Generate interest with dormant rental customers
- Grow revenue via strategic decision making
- Follow pricing matrices and enforce discounting rules
- Respond to customer and internal rental equipment related inquiries, questions and requests
- Assist collections department with accounts receivables, maintaining target DSO
- Issue POs and oversee accounts payables
- Facilitate all facets of HYG fleet program
- Create rental contracts in SAP and ensure contract information and paperwork is accurate and complete
- Coordinate rental equipment delivery and pickup with site transportation coordinators
- Ensure complete and accurate delivery/pickup documentation is processed within 24 hours
- Utilize Business Intelligence & SAP reports to drive rental metrics
- Review and process initial, periodic, and final billing on rental contracts
- Maintain rental paperwork to satisfactory audit standards
- Keep rental contract files up to date, organized, and accurately maintained
- Update and maintain rental equipment master file records in the system
- Work with customers and colleagues to meet customers’ needs
- Manage overtime/check‑in/check‑out, OT, and damage recovery

Education and/or Experience- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university is preferred or two years’ or more of sales experience and/or training
- Previous experience working in a fast‑paced environment, preferably in a service‑oriented industry
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Proven inside sales experience
- Track record of over‑achieving quota
- Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong listening and presentation skills
- Ability to multi‑task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Ability to communicate the “Value Added” concept to customers at all levels
- Highly organized
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Desire and ability to learn and utilize auxiliary systems such as Salesforce, SAP and Service Max.
Language SkillsAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Mathematical SkillsAbility to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
Reasoning AbilityAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
