• Co-op fee reimbursement up to $1000, if eligible

• Perform data mining, six sigma exercises, and structured problem solving.
• Complete projects in various departments that may include use of lean tools such as Standard Work, 5S, Kanban, Changeover reduction, Error Proofing and Visual Management.
• Monitor work on shop floor or office for evidence of waste and non-value-added activity that impedes the flow of material or information. Conduct audits and report findings.
• Assist in preparing information and research materials; create and maintain PowerPoint presentations.
• Take notes and memos during improvement workshops; type documents, drafts, and reports; sort and manage files.
• Manage databases and input information, data, and records.
• Attend company functions and networking events.

• High school degree or equivalent; must be enrolled in an accredited university/college program pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a field of engineering
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
• Must be 18 years of age
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self-directed and able to work without supervision
• Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas
