As the Emergency Room Nurse Manager, you will be the driving force behind the ER’s operations and clinical excellence:
- Lead and support a high-performing nursing team across all shifts
- Oversee patient care delivery, ensuring safety and quality for all age groups
- Manage staffing, scheduling, and department resources efficiently
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance outcomes and performance
- Serve as a bridge between the ER and other clinical teams, ensuring seamless collaboration
- Uphold organizational standards, mission, and values in everything you do
- Licensed RN in Georgia (BSN preferred) with current CPR certification
- Specialty certification preferred
- 4+ years of combined clinical and leadership experience in nursing or paramedicine
- Skilled at leading teams, mentoring staff, and fostering professional growth
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable using clinical equipment and technology to support patient care
This is a hands-on leadership role in a dynamic ER setting. You’ll need flexibility to cover multiple shifts, stamina for the demands of acute care, and the ability to make quick, informed decisions in high-pressure situations. Physical activity includes standing, walking, lifting, and assisting patients as needed.
