Where You Will Work5 Heart tower is a 30-bed Cardiac Medical‑Surgical Unit specializing in pre‑ and post‑cardiac procedures and serves as an ICU step‑down for patients requiring close cardiac monitoring. We care for patients recovering from cardiac catheterizations, device placements, and electrophysiology procedures. A fast‑paced, team‑oriented unit that offers opportunities to develop strong skills in cardiac rhythm interpretation, hemodynamic monitoring, and complex cardiac care.

- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- BLS for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
- ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association required/expected within 6 months of hire date.
- Cardiac/critical care experience preferred
- As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
- Using evidence‑based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.

The Atrium Health Navicent Emergency Department, with helipad capability and three urgent care centers, treats over 140,000 visitors per year. MCNH provides a broad range of community‑based outpatient diagnostic, primary care, wellness and comprehensive rehabilitation services. It is the primary academic hospital for Mercer University School of Medicine, providing residency and fellowship programs for over 100 residents and is affiliated with multiple universities as a clinical education site.
