6 Heart Tower (6HT) is a 30-bed cardiac observation unit located on the 6th floor of Heart Tower.

This position is Sign-on Bonus eligible.

6HT specializes in pre and post-operative procedures, including cardiac catheterization, pacemaker placement, and electrophysiology studies. 6HT also cares for and supports medical/surgical overflow patients. Typical Nurse to Patient ratio is 1:5.

Responsibilities
:

• Provide direct patient care to cardiac observation patients in a fast-paced unit.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient status; document findings accurately.
• Assist with procedures and post-operative care as needed.

Requirements
:

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
• Current valid Georgia nursing license or eNLC nursing license
• Current BLS
• Will consider current nursing student graduating from an accredited RN education program within 60 days

Pay Range: $34.90 - $52.35
