The Sr. QA Engineer is accountable for leading key strategic QA initiatives and driving adoption of test automation and other QA engineering technologies. As an experienced QA you will use your skills to drive, support and mentor QA analysts, and automation engineers to ensure the highest quality application deliveries to production. Additionally, you will have overall QA ownership of small to medium sized initiatives spanning multiple teams and systems and collaborate with leaders/teams across the enterprise.
- 5+ years of leading QA delivery within an enterprise software development domain
- 3+ years of experience with Agile/SCRUM and waterfall testing methodologies
- 2+ years of hands‑on experience with Rally or other Agile Software Development tools
- Ability to partner with leadership to drive adoption of new QA technology and trends including BDD, TDD, QA test automation, RPA, and model‑based testing
- Ability to apply understanding of complex distributed system/application concepts to ensure QA delivery of enterprise initiatives involving multiple disparate systems
- Staff leadership and supervision experience
- Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and business language
- Extensive Pharmacy, Clinical Systems, or other Healthcare experience
- Engineering Center of Excellence (Tools and Processes)
- Cloud Testing Experience
- Experienced working with Popular database products, Java, Angular JS
- Able to write and execute complex SQL queries
- Dev/Sec/Ops
- CI/CD
- Proven experience as a change agent and driving shift to automation
- Experienced working with onshore and offshore colleagues/contractors
- Strong problem solving and strategic critical thinking skills
- Strong verbal and written communications

Pay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:$83,430.00 - $. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full‑time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short‑term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
