Cytotechnologist

Overview

Pride Health is hiring for a Cytotechnologist to support our client’s medical facility based in Macon, GA 31201
. This is a direct-hire opportunity within the Anatomic Pathology department.

This role is ideal for an experienced CT professional with strong GYN and Non-GYN diagnostic screening experience and a passion for high-quality patient care.

• Screen and diagnose GYN and Non-GYN cytology specimens
• Issue final diagnostic reports on negative GYN cases and preliminary diagnoses on others
• Perform quality control and quality assurance activities
• Support FNA procedures with age-appropriate specimen collection
• Collaborate closely with Pathologists and laboratory teams
• Participate in training, continuing education, and workflow support

• CT (ASCP) or equivalent certification – required
• Bachelor’s degree in Cytotechnology, Biology, or Life Sciences
• Recent, consistent diagnostic screening experience (within the past year)
• Preferred:
  On-site rapid evaluation experience (EBUS/EUS)
• Slide exam required during on-site interview (GYN & Non-GYN)

  : $35 - $52 per hour

Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
