Job Description
To provide care and support to children living within the community by creating therapeutic and positive relationships. This includes creating structure, guidance, accountability, and documentation based on service goals and plans for each client. The incumbent is expected to demonstrate professionalism, effective conflict resolution skills, and time management skills at all times. Must support the establishment and maintenance of trauma-informed, evidence-based, and data-driven practices as Miracle Houses Inc evolves as a learning organization.

Role and Responsibilities
- Provide and maintain a caseload, providing community support and family
- Ensure all guidelines for remaining in compliance with HIPAA and confidentiality are followed
- Assist in the development of interpersonal skills which build self-esteem and appropriate peer interaction for each client
- Accurately document all visitation and client interactions. Significant events and behaviors shall be documented and communicated in daily progress notes.
- Represent the agency at all appropriate meetings, including court hearings
- Build a safe and positive relationship with each client without punitive approaches while providing engaging, nurturing support
- Understand the cultural diversity of clients and team members to better serve our community
- Assist in the development of individual crisis management plans and safety planning for each child
- Work as a partner with other team members
- Teach and model healthy and safe relationships
- For Paraprofessionals, under the supervision of a Licensed Therapist, administer therapeutic treatment to clients
- Responsible for creating and delivering activities that build and strengthen lagging skills in clients
- Collaborate with leadership to provide and share strategies with families to employ with clients during crises
- Participate in family reunification and discharge planning
- Advocate for clients with special needs
- Ensure flexibility in schedule to accommodate client needs
- Be prepared to assume additional duties as required by the Program Manager to support the successful operations of Miracle Houses.
