As our new medical assistant, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our primary care physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high‑quality care to our patients. Key Responsibilities- Work closely with primary care physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high‑quality care to patients.
- Assist with scheduling appointments, taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and performing clinical/clerical duties.
- Provide immunizations, administer injections and medications, and conduct routine specimen collection and tests (EKG machines, etc.).
- Room patients, check‑out, assist with referral processing, arrange laboratory services, and maintain quality customer service.
- Manage inventory of medical supplies, set‑up examination rooms and clean instruments, and assist physicians with medical treatments, procedures, and exams.
- Perform quality assurance reviews, keep logs and required checks, and document patient information.
- Assist in training and evaluation of new hires, inventory management, Pod leader responsibilities, and clinic scheduling problem‑solving.
- Guide patients and staff to proper authority for issues and manage patient complaints.

- Assist with daily and monthly quality assurance reviews including emergency kit check‑off.
- Perform all responsibilities of MA‑2.
- Assist in re‑evaluation and retraining process for MAs on PIP.
- Ensure early and late MA schedules are set.
- Assist practice manager on clinical tasks.
- Maintain inventory of medical supplies and medication samples.
- Assist with clinic scheduling problem‑solving, patient wait times, and other areas of concern.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to push or pull heavy objects using up to 50 pounds of force.
- Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to use fine motor skills to operate office equipment and/or machinery.
- Ability to receive and comprehend instructions verbatim and/or in writing.
- Ability to use logical reasoning for simple and complex problem solving.
- Ability to travel to multiple locations to support business needs as required.

- High school diploma or GED required.
- Current Medical Assistant Certification from AAMA, AMT, NHA, NCCT, or RMA required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification via AHA.
- Successful completion of competency assessments within 90 days of hire.
- Computer literacy with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to communicate clearly in verbal and written English.
