Department Information:
The School of Business offers a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with concentrations in General Business, Accounting, Financial Economics, Management, Marketing, and Supply Chain Management. A Master of Science in Management and a Master of Business in Professional Leadership are offered at the graduate level.

Job Summary

The School of Business is seeking candidates for an Assistant Professor of Management. This is a ten-month, tenure-track position involving teaching, scholarship, and service. Faculty at MGA have the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues, engage with motivated students, and pursue research in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

Teach on-campus, hybrid, dual enrollment, and/or online courses in management, including Strategic Management, International Business, Supply Chain Management, Principles of Management, and other business courses as qualified. Teaching at undergraduate and graduate levels (Master). Maintain a strong commitment to outstanding teaching, research, advising students, and service to the profession and university. This is a 10-month position with summer teaching available depending on demand.

Teaching may include day and/or evening, lower-level and/or upper-level courses. Travel to satellite campuses (Cochran and Warner Robins) may be required.

Required Qualifications

Required Educational Qualifications

A PhD or equivalent in Management or Management-related disciplines from (preferably) an AACSB-accredited institution.

Required Experience

A record of teaching and scholarship that warrants appointment at the rank of assistant professor or associate professor.

Other Required Qualifications

Excellent written and spoken English communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills.
