Job OverviewThe Technical Training Analyst develops, directs, plans, and evaluates training programs or activities to meet site learning objectives. Assignments may include needs analysis, custom course development, development of criteria for evaluating course objectives, and learning assessments.
Responsibilities- Plan, organize, and direct site-wide training/re‑training and education activities for site team members.
- Operationalize training & education activities to align with safety, quality, production, and retention goals.
- Compile and publish training metrics.
- Collaborate with supervisors, business partners, and corporate Learning & Development to create on‑the‑job training, skill assessments, knowledge assessments, and eLearning courses.
- Develop and use high‑quality materials (eLearning, facilitation guides, job aids, videos) aligned with standards.
- Maintain training materials and programs in line with system and process changes.
- Execute training sessions per corporate standards, ensuring compatibility.
- Deliver Train‑the‑Trainer sessions for effective On‑the‑Job Training.
- Administer training activities: track attendance, manage facilities, supplies, print materials, and gather feedback.
- Work with production trainers to identify quality problems, compliance gaps, and process improvement opportunities.
- 3+ years of experience developing and creating technical training curriculum and materials.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience enhancing learning through digital environments and classroom settings.
- Experience administering Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Strong planning, organization, and project management skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (intermediate to advanced).
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Instructional Design, Curriculum & Instruction, Educational Technology, Organizational Development, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment (plus).
- Well‑organized and detail oriented, able to work under pressure.
- 1+ year of experience facilitating training.
- Sitting or standing for extended periods (up to 8 hours).
- Occasional lifting up to 20 lbs.
- Reading computer screens or other electronic devices.
- Use of office hand and electrical tools.
- Travel required (25%).
$53,550.00 – $71,400.00
