** Mercer Center for IDD Care is searching for a Dental Hygienist for the Macon, Georgia clinic.

** Responsibilities**:

The Dental Hygienist is responsible for delivering preventive oral healthcare, patient education, and therapeutic dental procedures under the supervision of a licensed dentist. The role supports optimal patient oral health through cleanings, assessments, and instruction in effective hygiene practices.
** Qualifications**:

An Associate's Degree in Dental Hygiene, current state dental hygiene license, and current CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain upon hire) are required.
** Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
*** Knowledge of dental instruments, infection control protocols, and sterilization methods.
* Proficiency with dental software and digital radiography systems.
* High attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols.
* Strong interpersonal skills, patience, and adaptability with diverse adult patients and caregivers.
* Excellent clinical judgment and problem-solving in complex care scenarios.
* Ability to document detailed clinical and behavioral observations accurately.
* Commitment to patient-centered, respectful care.
