Quick Lube Technician

Job Summary:
We are looking for a Quick Lube Technician to join our growing team! The right candidate will have a strong background in automotive work and ASE certification or a technical degree. The day-to-day duties include testing systems to ensure proper operation, driving vehicles for testing purposes, and diagnosing and repairing vehicles accurately.

Responsibilities

• Test systems and components for security and proper function
• Identify potential causes of problems in systems or components
• Drive vehicles for testing and inspect/refill fluid levels as needed
• Ensure proper tire pressure, clean and lubricate fittings
• Install new oil drain plugs and filters; communicate oil levels to team
• Diagnose and repair vehicles efficiently and accurately
• Replace worn parts proactively to prevent breakdowns
• Use power tools, machine tools, and hand tools for various tasks

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of automobiles and quick diagnostic skills
• Effective analytical and communication skills, with a desire to improve
• Ability to learn new technology, repair procedures, and specifications
• Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
• High School Diploma or GED (required)
• ASE Certification or Technical degree (preferred)
• At least one year of experience in a service department
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
