The Criminal Calendar Administrator will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of the scheduling of the Superior Court Judges criminal calendars. This position is a very detailed oriented position and will require an individual that is highly organized and dependable in managing the criminal calendars.
- Process all criminal case dispositions onto sentencing forms and distribute to various departments.
- Enters data of all criminal dispositions and information in computer daily.
- Enter and update all trial dates and arraignment dates in the computer and distribute copies of calendars to various departments and attorneys.
- Set probation rules dates for all criminal divisions.
- Schedules arraignments, motions, division criminal rules hearings dates to correspond with trial weeks for each division.
- Prepares and mails out large volumes of notices for arraignments, trials, and rules hearing dates.
- Enters daily into computer probation delinquent reports, bench warrants, and other orders.
- Attend all court calendar calls for arraignment calendars, trial calendars, and rule calendars.
- Assists in recording plea dispositions in the courtroom.
- Performs other duties at the direction of the Chief Judge.
The Criminal Calendar Administrator should possess, at a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent, and One (1) to Two (2) years of similar experience; or any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the required knowledge, sills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:- Possession of a valid Georgia Motor Vehicle Operator’s License.
- Knowledge of and proficiency in Microsoft Office Products.
- Highly skilled in effective oral and written communication.
- Skilled in scheduling multiple calendars.
- Ability to work effectively with members of all levels within the organization.
- Ability to show good judgment, consistency, timeliness, and respect in decision-making.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities at one time and consistently achieve results on a timely basis.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
