Description

We are looking for an experienced Paralegal to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Macomb, Michigan. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting legal processes related to estate planning and administration. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional research and drafting skills, along with a strong attention to detail. This opportunity is part-time

Responsibilities:

- Conduct thorough research to locate deeds, verify their accuracy, and ensure all relevant information is complete.

- Prepare detailed estate planning documents with precision and attention to legal requirements.

- Draft and review legal documents for probate and estate administration cases.

- Collaborate with attorneys to provide comprehensive support in managing client cases.

- Maintain organized and accurate records of all legal documentation and correspondence.

- Communicate effectively with clients to gather necessary information and address inquiries.

- Ensure compliance with legal standards and procedures in all drafting and administrative tasks.

- Manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently while maintaining high-quality work.

- Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations related to estate planning and administration.

Requirements - Proven experience in estate planning and probate administration.

- Strong ability to draft and prepare legal documents with high accuracy.

- Proficiency in conducting research related to deeds and legal records.

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Effective communication abilities, both written and verbal.

- Familiarity with legal standards and procedures in estate planning.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work within deadlines.

- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
