Travel RN - Mother Baby - Post Partum

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Recovery position requiring recent OB and L&D experience and an active ME or compact RN license.

Job Details

• Work in a hospital setting on the OB unit, providing care across labor, delivery, recovery, postpartum, antepartum, nursery, and post-op gynecological patients,

• Night shift schedule from 7pm to 7am,

• Position requires independent practice in all areas of OB nursing, including labor, delivery, and postpartum care,

Job Requirements

• Active ME or compact RN license required,

• Minimum of 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery, postpartum, or OB RN experience required,

• BLS, ACLS, Neonatal Resuscitation Certificate, and STABLE certifications required,

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing,

• Demonstrated effective written and oral communication and computer skills,

• Must be vaccinated for COVID-19 according to state mandate,

Additional Information

• Responsible for providing holistic, patient-centered care utilizing nursing process for mothers and newborns,

• Duties include routine assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of OB patients under the supervision of a charge nurse,

• Expected to demonstrate strong clinical competency, nursing judgment, and teaching skills,

• Accountable for age-appropriate care, managing supplies, and fostering teamwork with physicians and other departments,

• Adheres to hospital policies on confidentiality, patient rights, and professional conduct,
