RN - OBGYN

This position requires night shifts and the candidate must be willing to work in Labor, Delivery, and Recovery.

The Night OB RN provides holistic, individualized care using the nursing process for patients routinely seen on the OB unit, demonstrating clinical competency, nursing judgment, teaching skills, and a commitment to improving the quality of patient care.

• Independently assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care under the supervision of the charge nurse.
• Perform general and unit-specific clinical skills with a focus on the age-appropriate care of all patients (antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, nursery, and post-op gyn patients).
• Manage supplies and equipment effectively.
• Promote teamwork with physicians and personnel of the unit and other hospital departments.
• Adhere to hospital policies regarding confidentiality, sexual harassment, and advance directives.

• Minimum of one year of acute care experience as an RN.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current BLS, ACLS, Neonatal Resuscitation Certificate, and STABLE certification.
• Must be vaccinated for COVID-19 per state mandate.
• Effective communication skills, both written and oral.
• Computer skills necessary for patient care documentation.
