Picture your day in our Machesney Park, IL facility: you arrive, review the day’s work orders, and step up to an Acme multi-spindle screw machine that’s ready for your expertise. You load material, dial in tooling, and bring prints to life with clean, consistent parts. Throughout the shift, you keep a close eye on quality and machine health—staying ahead of adjustments so production never misses a beat.

• Set up and run Acme multi-spindle screw machines to produce precision components exactly to print.
• Monitor cycle performance and quality; tweak offsets and tooling as needed to hit spec and throughput.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to plan efficient machining strategies.
• Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting to reduce downtime and keep machines reliable.
• Partner with teammates to meet daily production goals and ship on time.
• Keep your area organized and safe, following company safety practices at all times.
• Record production data accurately and escalate discrepancies to your supervisor promptly.

• High school diploma or equivalent; machining coursework or certification is a plus.
• Hands-on experience operating screw machines (Acme experience strongly preferred) or a closely related machining role.
• Solid knowledge of machining fundamentals, tooling, and measurement.
• Confidence reading and applying blueprints and technical documents.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a practical problem-solving mindset.
• Comfort working independently and collaborating within a production team.
• Clear communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude.
