Door Co is an established business that is growing and expanding rapidly in the supply and manufacture of Composite Doors.

Door Co in Macclesfield is growing and we are currently seeking an additional HGV/Van driver to join our busy Transport team. The position will suit someone who enjoys a variety of work within transport and driving.

The roles will involve predominantly working in our 3.5T curtain sided vans as well as our 26T rigid HGVs, so a Type C licence is required, as a minimum. Working nationally, the roles offer significant opportunity for development. We are looking for people who are hardworking, flexible and enjoy working closely with customers.

Our induction and in-house training will support your transition to a new industry with lots of potential.

A day in the life of a Door Co Delivery Driver will include working in a fast-paced family-owned company, facilitating the delivery of manufactured doors to trade customers, with customer service at the heart of our business.

This great Delivery Driver opportunity will require:

· You to be the face of the business, interacting with customers daily. You must be well presented and have customer orientated skills.

· You to be responsible for your products for delivery being safe and secure, including the completion of all relevant paperwork.

· You to be able to work on your own initiative.

· You to be willing to work flexibly to achieve customer runs.

The usual standard working hours are 05:30-14:30 with overtime available.

In return you will need a valid driving license with no more than 3 penalty points, experience of driving delivery vehicles, a strong work ethic and excellent customer communication skills.
