* About the role:

* • Lead generation for commercial insurance and NFU Mutual’s in-house financial services team
• Proactively identifying and researching potential new customers across the local area
• Making outbound calls to warm and cold leads to introduce NFU Mutual’s insurance products
• Building rapport quickly and engaging customers in meaningful conversations
• Understanding customer needs and identifying opportunities for suitable insurance solutions
• Booking appointments or generating qualified leads for the sales team or Agents
• Managing and nurturing a growing pipeline of prospects
• Recording all interactions accurately in CRM systems
• Following up on enquiries, marketing responses and referrals promptly
• Working closely with the agency team to support targeted sales campaigns
• Contributing ideas to improve lead generation and new business conversion
• Ensuring all activity aligns with FCA regulations and NFU Mutual’s customer focused approach
• Maintaining a positive, professional and resilient attitude in a target driven environment## About you
• Proven experience in outbound sales, lead generation or business development
• Confident telephone manner with the ability to engage prospects quickly
• Ability to identify customer needs and introduce relevant insurance solutions
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Driven and self motivated, with a proactive approach to finding new opportunities
• Ability to manage a pipeline of prospects and follow up effectively
• High attention to detail when recording customer information
• Comfortable working to targets while maintaining a customer first approach
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Ability to learn insurance products and regulatory requirements
• Competent in using CRM systems and digital tools
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
